Reasons why you could forfeit a SMART REWARD, include, but are not limited to, the following:

(1). You do not log onto your personal Retire On Spending, Inc. web site;

(2). You go directly to the participating merchant’s site without linking to it through your personal web site;

(3). You complete multiple transactions without logging out of and returning to your personal web site. Completing a transaction ends your  shopping session. You must log off of your web site and log back onto it to and start a new session before you complete another transaction.

(4). You type a new address (URL) in the window opened by a Retire On Spending, Inc. Participating Merchant;

(5). You click on any "special offers" or toolbars from other websites while shopping;

(6). You allow too much time to lapse before you complete a transaction. Each time you log onto your personal web site your shopping session ends in 55 minutes. If you are on your site in excess of 55 minutes and have not completed a transaction you must log off of your web site and log back onto it and start a new session before you complete a transaction or you will not receive a SMART REWARD.

HELPFUL HINT: A good rule of thumb to exercise if you are going to shop is to close your web site after 50 minutes and then log back on and a new 55 minute session begins.

(7). You contact the merchant to change an order you previously placed via your web site. To receive a SMART REWARD on an order you wish to change you must cancel the entire order and log back onto to your personal web site and place a new order.

(8). You fail to abide by the restrictions imposed by a Participating Merchant.

(9) You do not reside in the United States or Canada.

Determination of whether or not a purchase made through a Participating Merchant is at the discretion of Retire On Spending, Inc. and the Participating Merchant. Retire On Spending, Inc. is not responsible for tracking problems resulting from incorrect usage of a Retire On Spending, Inc. site, disabling cookies, computer issues resulting from unknown causes such as third-party software or other issues, merchant partner errors/omissions or from any other failure of tracking mechanisms.
